Dinner at a chain restaurant

We spied a promising chain restaurant from the bus one stop down from Kinkakuji, so decided to give it a try. Being in an area where there were many universities, and also more suburban, it was a cheaper option than the higher priced eateries in central Kyoto, where we were staying. We chose "Joyfull Pasta"rather than "Big Boy" and we could all eat together. It was a good experience of typical family dining and fast, effecient and friendly service. The all-you-can-drink "drinks bar" was also a hit.
