In Kurashiki

The students have been enjoying homestay   over the weekend with their host families. Today they have had a welcome ceremony and introduction in an assembly, walking up to the staged to the music of the school brass band. Each student introduced themselves in Japanese. The haka was well received by the Minami students and staff.
The students have been to English classes and had a calligraphy lesson with Japanese students. After lunch, they will attend classes for the first two periods.

On board the Sakura 555  going to Okayama where we will change to a local train to get to Kurashiki. A short ride today.
